Shoutout to all the incredible acts that lit up the stage at the lip sync performance this past Friday. Bravo to every performer for bringing the energy! Thank you to our Home and School for organizing such a wonderful event! 

Our kindergarten learners had a blast with their Vet PlayShop unit. To end their unit, they had a special visit from Dr. Stover. Dr. Stover, a former falcon, shared with the students exactly what she does as a veterinarian. The students enjoyed her presentation and learning even more about veterinarians.

Huge congratulations to our incredible Honors Band! Your dedication, talent, and hard work truly shined this past Saturday at your concert. Keep making music and inspiring us all. Congratulations to Mr. Helmer and all of our 4th and 5th grade students on a wonderful performance. 

Dribbling, dunking, and dazzling the crowd, DP, a Harlem Wizard, brought his A - game to our assembly. DP put on quite a performance that got the students and teachers pumped for the big game. Mr. Price and Mrs. Siegfried are excited to be a part of the SASD Dream Team. Be sure to check out when the SASD Dream Team takes on the Harlem Wizards at the high school on Friday, April 4th!

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! Our spring fair will be held in the library from Monday, March 31st to Thursday, April 3rd! Students will visit during their library class, and all are welcome to attend Family Night on Thursday, April 3rd from 4:00-6:00 P.M. If you are interested in volunteering, please click here:

Online ordering for yearbooks is now available through Barksdale. To place an order, use the access code 18613YB or search Franconia Elementary. 

Flyers will also be sent home with students in the upcoming weeks for yearbook orders via cash or check. 

Please join us for our upcoming Home and School Meeting Tuesday, April 8th at 7:00 PM. The meeting will take place in the Library.

This will be a great opportunity to discuss important topics related to our school community, upcoming events, and ways we can continue to support our students together. Your input and involvement are crucial, and we look forward to seeing you there!
