Bullying Prevention Week

Mrs. Croak led us in different activities for Bully Awareness and Prevention Week. The whole school participated in wearing blue to show a united front on stomping out bullying. We wore name tags and were challenged to say hello to 10 new friends. To wrap up the week, we had our kick off for SOCKtober. Franconia students will be collecting new socks and flip flops/shower shoes through the rest of the month to support the Good Samaritan Services. Thank you for your continued support!

Indian Crest Community Day

In the beginning of October, fifteen 7th graders from Indian Crest came to Franconia to volunteer in the classrooms for their Crest Community Challenge (C3). The students visited several classrooms and read with students and played games. It was nice to see some familiar former Falcons!

October All School Assembly

On Friday, we had our October All School Assembly. We celebrated 22 students who received positive referrals for demonstrating one or more of our core values in S.O.A.R.

Mr. Price and Mr. Steinman put together a skit demonstrating our October trait of showing ownership and our fifth-grade students shared what it means to show ownership in and outside of school. Mr. Stover announced our First in Math teams of the month and handed out their trophies. It was a great afternoon celebrating our accomplishments.
